The Community Partner Storefront Program was designed so that partnering entities with retail storefronts, meeting minimum program criteria, can be included on Covered California’s “Find a Storefront Near You" webpage.  Consumers looking for in-person assistance will be able to search the website for a variety of storefronts by zip code, languages spoken, and other criteria.

Covered California recognizes that offering in-person assistance to consumers is very important to helping them understand their options and to successfully enroll. 

Community Partner storefronts are permanent locations, with approved Covered California co-branded signage, open to walk-in traffic, offering free, confidential enrollment assistance.  These storefronts provide consumers with convenient and consistent access to enrollment support in both Covered California Qualified Health Plans and Medi-Cal. 

The Community Partner Storefront Program is expected to represent Covered California in the best and most professional way possible by providing an adequate number of partner storefronts in every rating area based on geography and population.  Participation in this program is optional but HIGHLY encouraged.

If you are interested in participating in this program, but do not currently have co-branded signage, Covered California has created samples of approved co-branded sign designs that you can use to have your signs developed. The approved sign templates are available in English, Spanish, and Chinese.

Approved Storefronts must have external facing, Covered California signage. Permanent Covered California signage is preferable.  If you meet all other Storefront criteria (listed on the next page), you may apply for this Program once your Covered California signage is in place. 

Please note:  If you are not selected to be listed on the Covered California Storefront website, we still encourage you to use Covered California Signage to promote in-person assistance. To be considered for the Storefront Program, please complete this application.  All Applicants will be notified of their selection status. By completing this application you’re storefront will be included in the searchable storefront listing.
